When I found out that my good friend MICHAEL BUTLER (host of the ROCK AND ROLL GEEK SHOW and MEVIO MUSIC CHANNEL online) was a big fan of Jane’s, I remembered that I produced an ad for Jane when she was on EMI back in 1990!

I rummaged through some hard drives, dug it up and sent it to Michael, with a copy to Jane (who I actually hung out with a few times back in the GO-GO-eighties).

Then I get this email asking if it’s cool to post the spot up on YouTube!

It’s so totally sick to hear this crazy old radio spot and see it come to life with the great music video that inspired the commercial way back when!

(Believe it or not, I had to do BOTH the guy voices on the ad when the announcer I hired got sick and, at the last minute, didn’t how up!)

Takes me back, old skool! Maybe I should start producing music ads again!
