  • I had become a most recent admirer of the Gogos when I learned of your Farewell tour. I was not a follower of the Gogos to a great extent. but it made me happy that you got back together after the first break-up.
One day this winter I was wondering who Belinda Carlisle was; looking up her name I began to read about you girls. What a story.
I am sorry if men (I am a man) did not seem to respect your efforts the way our better half deserves, I think too much love has been wasted during the human race.
Alas, who will win the human race?
Other bands stay making music; the Eagles are an example but, you are leaving us.
For all the time I spent unaware of the Gogos; I feel like a big brother whose little sister and friends are going to leave me, but goodbye is forever now, probably.
So, goodbye forever. I think you were not loved near enough and feel bad.
When I was a boy, I invited my sister to go fishing with me but, my Dad vetoed the idea… fishing was not for girls.
I am pissed at Dad (dead now)for that. Guys in this country dont know how to love, on a huge scale because they dont.I feel like we guys have seriously let you down.
An enterprise such as yours was CAN have done better. When I watch you now on youtube I think you were a group of young ladies, my peers, with nothing – -but my goodness did you hone your act. You became talented as real danceable musicians and I can see that your loyal following was having a good ‘ole time, they did Limbo down and your beat is a driving enthraller. You got the beat.
I got the blues. Good luck, sweet things… Gogos…G’bye
