Wrapping y’all in my prayers. You are living my greatest fear as the mother of an only son. The aggression in suicide is rarely discussed. Thank you for being so willing to share your heart with us.
<3 love you.
Sorry to hear about that . God bless u and your family at this time..
My condolences. My oldest sister had her older son (25 years old) commit suicide in August, so I can empathize with your bewilderment and frustration. . .I have similar feelings even though I wasn’t close to the young man. What makes it even more painful was the fact he did it one week after many of us met for a family reunion. . .which he did not attend even though my sister was one of the organizers.
As far as I know my sister’s current therapy is consoling with her husband (not the nephew’s birth father) and her class of kindergartners. I listen to sad music for catharsis. A favorite right now is Calling You, the theme song from Bagdad Cafe.
Jane,
I’m so sorry you and your family have to go through this. It breaks my heart to see you in such pain.
I’ve been on meds for almost ten years, like you have thought many times of ending it all.
We just want everything to be ok and the pain to go away.
When I’m feeling low, I pop in The Very Best of Jane Wiedlin, and that helps me get through those dark times. Lost my best friend to suicide, and have lost both my parents.
Love and Peace through Music – Lynne
So sorry for your loss Jane. My heart was just so sad for what your family is going through. Thoughts and prayers going out for you. Hang in there.
