Talking Animals – Nov 9th

JANE WIEDLIN, The Go-Go’s singer-guitarist and longtime animal rights activist will be on “Talking Animals” Nov 9th –she’s worked on PETA projects of one kind or another for more than 20 years.

Now living in San Francisco, Jane lends her support to multiple animal rescues, among them Muttville, a San Francisco-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs–namely, finding homes for those in shelters, particularly the ones facing euthanasia. She also juggles a number of other projects and pursuits, including acting (she stars in the forthcoming film, “Doggie Boogie,” for which she also wrote the title song), works on a comic book series she co-created, “Lady Robotika,” and is an ordained minister who officiates at weddings.

Jane Wiedlin will speak with us live on “Talking Animals” Nov. 9 at 11am ET, and listeners are invited to participate in the conversation by calling (813-239-9663) or e-mailing (DJ@wmnf.org).
